Another Published Physician

Dr. F. Khorfan and Dr. Jennifer Ely had a case report published in Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine. The article is available in the library. The title is "Unilateral Periorbital Swelling With Nasal CPAP Therapy."

Special Olympics

Special Olympics Volleyball is on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 6:00 pm at the Knopf Learning Center. Wear scrub tops as uniforms and come have fun with great kids. It lasts usually about 1--1 1/2 hours, the kids really enjoy it and you will too. Any questions contact Lisa Rummel or pick up a flyer in the library.

New Audio Digest

We finally received the Audio Digest we have been missing. Audio Digest are lectures on CD on various topics within different specialties. We now have Family Practice, Surgery, Otolaryngology, and Pediatrics. In most cases, we have up to the most current issue. We also have Opthalmology, Internal Medicine, Urology, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, Orthopaedics, and Obstetrics/Gynecology.

They are located in the back of the library near the seating area. They have the same 3 week check-out period as the other materials in the library.

We have added more books to the sale shelves. Remember all books are just $1.00. We still have some free journals left as well. Stop in and shop for used books.

Free Journals

There are some journals on the book sale shelves that are free. These are journals that we no longer carry in paper, but were sent to us and we can keep. We are choosing to pass them out to the readers. Please come and take an issue of the FREE journals home. They do not have to be returned.

Please remember ONLY the journals without reference stickers are FREE!

Book Sale

We will be clearing the book sale shelves this week. As new books or newer editions come in we will place the older books on the book sale shelves. The Book Sale books are located near the circulation desk across from the copier in their own case.

There is no specific date for the sale, it is first come, first serve and all books are one dollar.

We will be cleaning off the book sale shelves soon and putting new materials on it. Anything left will be pitched so come and check out what's for sale before it's gone for good.
